     Santa Rosa, CA: The folks manning the counter are often the forgotten heroes of the sales process. Despite having to remember reams of technical data and cut through all the marketing hype, it is the counter people that really can make or break a product line by making the real connection to the consumer. In an effort to educate and enhance the CCSQ (consumer counter satisfaction quotient), Flowmaster has launched their new Exhaust Expert program that cuts right to the core of the sales process.
      Launching this month, the Flowmaster Exhaust Expert program rewards counter people for their product knowledge. They will receive special certification and the chance to win some cool prizes and trips. By registering online and completing the 20 question educational “test,” they are not only enrolled in the Exhaust Expert Sweepstakes, but also become certified Exhaust Expert Technicians to inform customers that they are qualified to sell Flowmaster products.
      “The program was created to not only widen the interest in Flowmaster products, but to really help those counter people, the front line of our sales force, to understand our products better,” stated David Fetherston, Director of Marketing for Flowmaster. “When they are better informed, they can confidently speak with customers and truly guide them to the right products for their vehicles.      In addition to a “Welcome to the Flowmaster Team” personal phone call, participants receive a window decal for the store and personal certificate.
